Eflir Privacy Policy
In one sentence
Eflir does not require an account, and Korvane does not receive or store your routines, workouts, measurements, or photos. Those records are stored locally. The app can connect to update its catalog; if you choose, it can write a workout to system Health and export a backup to a destination you select.
The rest of this document only explains that sentence in more detail.
Who is responsible
Eflir is a product of Korvane, Miguel Suárez's software engineering consultancy. For any privacy question, write to us at soporte@korvane.dev.
What data the app handles, and where it lives
Eflir works without an account, and its core features are available offline. The data you create as you use it is stored in your device's local storage:
- Routines and exercises you select or create.
- Workout records (sets, reps, loads).
- Body measurements and their progression.
- Progress photos.
- Your preferences and settings (for example, reminders).
None of this is sent to Korvane. It leaves Eflir's storage only when you choose to write a workout to system Health or export a backup to a folder you control.
Catalog updates
The scientific catalog is bundled with the app. When you are online, Eflir may contact Korvane's content Worker to check for and download a newer version. That request carries the catalog version, schema, and requested language; it does not include your routines, workouts, measurements, or photos.
What Eflir does NOT do
To be explicit:
- We do not create accounts or ask for your email, phone number, or personal data to use the app.
- We have no servers that receive your training information.
- We do not use behavioral analytics, trackers, or advertising identifiers.
- We do not show ads.
- We do not share or sell your training data, because Korvane does not receive it. Voluntary transfers to Health or a backup happen only when you start them.
- Eflir does not upload your photos to Korvane or to a cloud service on its own. If you export a backup to a synced folder, that provider may copy it according to settings you control.
Device permissions
Eflir asks only for the minimum permissions it needs to work, and always for a specific task you start:
- Camera / photos: only when you choose to take or attach a progress photo. You can use the app without granting this permission; you will only lose that feature.
- File access: only when you export or import your backup, so it can write or read that file in the folder you choose.
- System health (optional): if you allow it, Eflir writes completed sessions —date, start and end time, and the type “strength training”— to Apple Health or Health Connect. It requests no permission to read your health data. On iOS, it only checks whether a session with the identifier written by Eflir already exists, to prevent a duplicate; it does not query heart rate, energy, or records from other apps. Eflir hands the record to the hub you control, and it does not pass through Korvane; the system may sync it according to your account and device settings.
Your data is yours
- Backup: you can export your profile, reminder settings, routines, sessions, sets, measurements, metrics, and photos to a folder you choose, and restore them on the same device or another one. Your theme preference stays on the device and is not included in the backup. If you choose a synced folder, its provider may upload it under settings you control.
- Deletion: uninstalling the app removes the data it stores on the device. Any backups you exported yourself remain where you saved them, under your control. Workouts you wrote to Health remain there until you manage them through the system.
Minors
Eflir is not directed at children under 13. If the user is a minor, use should be supervised by a responsible adult.
Changes to this policy
If Eflir adds features in the future that change how data is handled (for example, an optional sync between devices), we will update this policy before enabling them and tell you clearly. The effective date above marks the latest version.
